Building my Fish pond gave me so much enjoyment I didn't think anything could surpass it, that is until I was able to enjoy it daily. I get so much pleasure out of my Koi pond, it's my own tranquil space. If I have had a stressful day at work or even at home, I look forward to the time I get to sit by my pond.

I can just picture the fish and instantly some of the stress goes away.

When I go to sit by the pond I am immediately greeted by my fish, they are coming to the surface as if to say hello. I lazily put my hand in the water, they circle around it and brush by, and I'm able to feel their slick, smooth bodies against my hand.

Their long flowing fins graze over the water. I watch them do their dance amongst themselves, effortless they move through the water with such graze.

I lay back against a rock to put my feet in the calm water. The water feels cool and refreshing.

I'm able to feel a gentle breeze that is filled with many aromas of the plants and flowers. The water from the waterfall brushes my face with its mist.

The sound of the waterfall is so tranquil; it lures me into a deep meditative state. My heart rate slows and my breathing becomes deep.

The fish brush by and tickle my feet, awaking me from my slumber. My senses are alive from the aroma of my flowers. This is my most favorite place to be.

I love being able to enjoy the state of mind my own backyard (tranquil space) brings me, instead of having to pay someone to make me feel peaceful now I just step out in my yard.

No longer paying someone else to make me happy, I can do it myself now. No expensive spas to pamper me, I now pamper myself.

No more having to find the time to go to the ocean, no taking off of work, standing in long lines, and having to pay out the A*@ to sleep on a bed of nails. NO, I just kick off my shoes and run outside, and have instant gratification in my very own personal tranquil space.

It feels so good having this oasis right in my own backyard. Now when I entertain no longer do I have to figure out what will keep my guests occupied, my Koi do that all on their own.

The kids are no longer bored, they love working on the pond and feeding the fish. Instead of expensive nights out, it is now buffet style from the grill by the pond.

8 fans.
I wish we could have a pond but our garden is too small and the digs would just eat the fish.
